2 movies one weekend. Fabulous.
1st up was Howl's Moving Castle. Exceptional to say the least though i get the feeling that the sub plots are getting kinda similar. War + Love + Weird stuff = Hayao Miyazaki 's movies. I was quite surprised that there were so many people watching a japanese "cartoon". Must be because of all the buzz around this movie.
2nd was Team America: World Police. Done by the creators of South Park, it was pretty obvious of what to expect, just leaving me wondering how it was going to be potrayed. I can't really define the humour that was in the show but it might be very crude to some people. Its amazing what you can do with good voice acting and puppets. Real puppets. My favourite part (and i think the most emphasized part) of the movie is when the Moral of the Story (TM) was made known. Spoilers ahead!!
"There are only three kinds of people in the world, the dicks, the pussies and the assholes. The dicks are the ones who try to screw with everyone, the pussies are the ones who don't want to screw around with anyone and the assholes just end up covering everyone in shit. Sometimes the dicks screw around with everyone and goes overboard and its up to the pussies to make the dicks realise that they are going too far. Then again, the dicks are the only ones who can screw the assholes because if they don't, everyone is just going to be covered with shit."
Philosophy.
