Sick today.
Just when someone wants to push guard duty on Yours Truly. Hah.
I'm going to have my molars removed. They are growing sideways and its troublesome getting food particles out of them after every meal. I'm scared but i guess its ok since i'm going to milk some day offs from this endevour.
I went to watch "Blood Brothers" (or Jiang Hu) today. Too bad it is only a pathetic clone of Infernal Affairs(Wu Jian Dao). Sure, it has the backing of mega stars like Jacky Cheung and Andy Lau and Edison Chen but it lacks the mystery and suspense of Infernal Affairs. The story line is straight foward and direct... too much for what it wants to potray.
"Zatoichi" was what I watched on Friday. Man, I don't even know why I want to watch that show. The thought of watching this typical samurai flick by "Beat" Takeshi was bugging me ever since my friend told me in camp of the show's synopsis. Its like watching "Stomp" and "Kill Bill" (although it was Kill Bill that stole the cinematography from Jap films) and Jap comedy all together. You wouldn't believe how good it was until you've seen it. Its all worth the $8.50.
And I rewatched Kill Bill Vol. 1 on Saturday. Movie Marathon spread over the weekend. Anyone up for Kill Bill Vol.2?
Anyways, this might just be interesting enough to be published in the straits times. Just maybe.
